We invite you to participate in the Third Annual Metuchen Junebug ArtFest.
 
Metuchen, New Jersey, has been a mecca for artists of every discipline for more than a century. To continue and strengthen this tradition, the Junebug ArtFest will once again transform Metuchen every Friday evening in June 2010 into a month-long celebration of the arts.  
 
The festival will take place during the evenings of June 4, 11, 18 and 25, from 6 to 10pm and will feature a range of events in downtown Metuchen, including "window galleries", open air exhibits, live music, interactive art experiences for children and adults, open-mic sessions featuring poets and performers and more.
 
Enthusiastically supported by the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Metuchen Cultural Arts Commission, the ArtFest reinforces our community as one that encourages and nurtures all forms of creativity and is a true "home" for the arts.   Ideally, this event will benefit you - the artist - by giving you a chance to showcase your work to a larger, art-conscious audience.

The Mel-O-Chords of the Montclair Operetta Club is currently auditioning all voice parts for our volunteer vocal ensemble. Strong sight-singing skills, excellent musicianship, and love of choral singing a plus. Our repertoire includes musical theatre, American standards and contemporary pop compositions.
