Gallery Walk, Prizes, and more…On October 23, from 6-9 p.m. Montclair’s many eclectic galleries invite you to A Little Night Art IV. Let’s all meet at the Montclair Art Museum to board the “Art Bus” and away we go to take self-guided tours of nine galleries including the George Segal Gallery at MSU, BrassWorks, Gallery 51, Essex Fine Arts, Gallery Loupe, the Jacklyn Kling Gallery, Pat Gail Gallery, Studio Montclair's Block Gallery, the Art Gallery at the Montclair Public Library, It’s all FREE! There will be opportunities to win prizes like dinner for two at Richie Cecere’s, or tickets to MAM’s blockbuster exhibition Cézanne and American Modernism.

The Montclair Gallery Association was founded in the spring of 2006. Its goal is to promote and market the work of Montclair's art galleries. The commercial galleries in the association are Essex Fine Arts, Gallery 51, Gallery Loupe, the Jacklyn Kling Gallery, Midland Gallery, BrassWorks, MFEE/Laraja Gallery @ Montclair Highschool and three nonprofit museum/galleries: the Montclair Art Museum, Studio Montclair's Block Gallery and the George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University. The association publishes a Gallery Guide, which includes a map and information on all the member galleries. Twice a year they host a Gallery Walk. The first Gallery Walk took place in October of 2006, the second in May of 2007.
